Service Rating : I took 1 star off for customer service because a week after my order had been placed, I had not received any notification of shipping. I had to chase them up and they told me there was a delay due to being short-staffed, but this could have been communicated to me directly instead of me being left in the dark.

Product : The pillow itself is very good, I was previously using a tailbone-cut pillow from amazon but it would squish down over hours of sitting and become less effective.

After 2 weeks of using this new one, I'm very happy with the results, I'm getting less tailbone pain than before and it seems to hold up to a long day of sitting in an office chair. I'm actually using the old pillow as a lower back support and I think that is helping keep my posture up straighter as well.

Best cushion to take pressure off the coccyx?

The diffuser coccyx cushion would be the most beneficial for extra relief around your tailbone area. The other product that might be beneficial is the coccyx wedge. This product serves to tilt your pelvis at a slight angle and thereby encouraging a better more upright posture which can help with building core strength through the stomach. It is not as comfy as the diffuser coccyx but plenty of people get a great deal of benefit from it.

Best cushion for padding the bottom?

Diffuser Coccyx might be the best product for you. It will give relief around the coccyx area and will also help with cushioning on your bottom as it is memory foam and will give good medium comfort support.

What cushion is best for tailbone relief?

Coccyx cushions for general use I recommend the diffuser coccyx as it provides the most comfort in most cases. The coccyx wedge cushion is good also and will encourage a better posture, but the diffuser coccyx is more comfortable overall.

Would this cushion be ok for plus size/obese?

Our coccyx wedge chair cushion may support you better as it is made from a firmer foam than the memory foam used in our coccyx diffuser chair cushion. Firmer foam will not compress as much providing better support. We also have a Bariatric Coccyx Cushion and Bariatric Cushion for heavier weight you might also like to look at.

What is the best cushion for prolonged sitting and lower back pain?

The diffuser coccyx will be best for you.

Can you please recommend a seat cushion for terrible buttock pain?

Sitting on a slight angle should help with the pain and would hence recommend either the coccyx wedge if you think the cut out at the base of the spine will help with relief or the posture wedge if you think the cut out will be an issue. Both products are exactly the same other than the cut out.

Is the coccyx Diffuser Chair Cushion suitable for my car?

The diffuser version might be a bit too big for your car seat so would be more inclined to use the coccyx wedge or the posture wedge.

What is the difference in fabric (Dura-Fab and Steri-Plus)?

The Dura Fab cover is a soft suede feel and machine washable. The Steri-Plus cover is dark green vinyl which can be wiped clean with a damp cloth.

Is this the correct cushion for a broke tailbone?

The diffuser coccyx would be best.

Can this be used in bed?

I dont think this is the best option for bed. We have a bed seat if you would like to take a look.

Relief for upper hamstring and backside pain/discomfort?

The Coccyx Diffuser cushion will offer comfort and the memory foam will depress a little upon sitting.

Does the coccyx diffuser cushion have a weight limit?

No specific weight limit on the coccyx cushion. It is high density repol foam so should be all ok for most weights.

Which fabric is the soft velvet?

The Dura Fab is the soft suede like material.

Does the diffuser coccyx cushion provide pressure relief to existing pressure injuries?

The diffuser cushion may assist where existing pressure points are located however, we cannot guarantee this. We would suggest speaking with your health professional to see what the best solution is for you.

Please clarify the difference between Coccyx Diffuser Cushion and Tailbone support cushion

The Tailbone support cushion is a wedge and tapers off at an angle whereas the coccyx diffuser is the same height the whole way around the product.
