Hi Peter, The Naturelle pillow protector is very thin and is like a sheet. It is comprised of a thin layer of tencel to give comfort and great feel and a layer on the back of Polyeurethane to make it impermeable to sweat and dustmits. Our mattress protectors have 100 % natural eucalyptus base fibre Tencel. Tencel is naturally pure and does not contain pesticides or agricultural chemicals.

Hi Katherine, The mattress protector will just fit directly on top of the overlay and will not affgect teh height at all. Will just serve to protect overlay and keep it in as new condition.
